Stardrop Saloon

The Stardrop Saloon is owned by Gus and sits in the center of Pelican Town. It serves as one of the town’s main gathering spots, drawing in many villagers throughout the day and evening. In addition to being a social hub, it contains several interactive attractions: playable arcade machines, a jukebox, and a Joja Cola vending machine.

The saloon also functions as a shop. Gus sells food, recipes, and a rotating cooked dish, and purchases are made by interacting with the cash register on the counter. The register remains usable as long as Gus is behind the counter; if he is visiting Ginger Island, he leaves a cash box on the bar so the player can still buy items. A few recipes and dishes may only appear under special conditions, such as the Cookie Recipe for players affected by a specific Evelyn heart-event bug.

Its permanent stock includes Beer, Salad, Bread, Spaghetti, Pizza, Coffee, and several recipes. The regular recipe selection includes Hashbrowns Recipe, Omelet Recipe, Pancakes Recipe, Bread Recipe, Tortilla Recipe, Pizza Recipe, Maki Roll Recipe, Triple Shot Espresso Recipe, and Cookie Recipe. Gus also stocks a daily random cooked dish, often called the Dish of the Day, with a quantity ranging from 1 to 14. This makes the saloon a reliable place to check for meals and cooking recipes without waiting for traveling merchants or other special vendors.

Several features inside the saloon are worth noting:

• The arcade machines are fully playable. Journey of the Prairie King is available immediately and is an arcade shooter with three worlds.
• Junimo Kart is also inside the saloon, but it is locked at first and requires the Skull Key to unlock.
• The jukebox can play any music track the player has already heard, including seasonal music, Heart Event music, and Festival tracks.
• The Joja Vending Machine beside the arcade machines dispenses Joja Cola.
• Placing Duck Mayonnaise in the partially hidden metal box in the back room rewards the player with a secret statue.
• Alex’s Ten Heart Event takes place in the room in the northwest corner of the saloon.

Because of its location and broad set of services, the Stardrop Saloon is one of the most visited interiors in the game. It combines food, entertainment, and a few hidden interactions in a single place, making it useful both for everyday shopping and for optional activities such as arcade play and secret discovery.
