Hashbrowns

Hashbrowns are a cooked dish prepared either in the kitchen of an upgraded farmhouse or with a Cookout Kit. They restore a modest amount of energy and health for a cooked food item, with an edibility of 36, and sell for 120g.

Hashbrowns can also be obtained without cooking. They may randomly appear in Krobus’ shop on Saturdays, in the Garbage Can outside the saloon, or in the Stardrop Saloon’s rotating stock. Alex also sells one during the Desert Festival for Calico Eggs, and one may be found by opening a Mystery Box.

Hashbrowns have a few useful secondary functions:

• Used in the Sewing Machine spool to create the Red Flannel Shirt.
• Used in dyeing as an orange dye at the dye pots in Emily and Haley’s house.
