Beer is an Artisan Good made in a Keg from Wheat, and it takes about 1–2 days to produce. It can also be purchased at The Saloon and the Ginger Island Resort, received as a gift at the Feast of the Winter Star, or bought from Pam’s shop at the Desert Festival in exchange for Calico Eggs.
When consumed, Beer applies the Tipsy buff, which reduces Speed by 1. It has 20 edibility and sells for 200g at normal quality. Like other artisan goods, it can be aged in a Cask to increase its quality from normal to silver, gold, and eventually iridium; iridium quality doubles Beer’s base sell price. Normal, silver, and gold quality Beer can be removed from a Cask early by striking it with an Axe, Hoe, or Pickaxe.
Beer also has tailoring and dye uses. It can be combined with Cloth in the Sewing Machine to produce a clothing item, and it can be used as a yellow dye ingredient in the Sewing Machine as well as placed in the yellow dye pot at Emily and Haley’s house for dyeing.
Silver-quality Beer is obtained after 7 days in a Cask.
Gold-quality Beer is obtained after 14 days total in a Cask.
Iridium-quality Beer is obtained after 28 days total in a Cask.
