Sashimi

Sashimi is a cooked dish. It is prepared using either the kitchen inside an upgraded farmhouse or a Cookout Kit.

It can also be obtained outside of cooking: Sashimi may randomly appear in Krobus' shop on Saturdays, in the Garbage Can outside the saloon, or in the Stardrop Saloon's rotating stock. Linus may randomly send one Sashimi in the mail, and one can be received from opening a Mystery Box.

As a food item, Sashimi restores energy and health when eaten, and it has a sell price of 75g. It is also used in tailoring: placing it in the spool of the Sewing Machine creates a Shirt, and it can be used as a red dye in the dye pot at Emily's and Haley's house.

Sashimi is one of the more practical recipes for turning low-value fish into profit. It is especially worthwhile when made from fish worth less than the dish's sale value, and Periwinkle is specifically noted as a case where turning it into Sashimi is more profitable than saving it for a Help Wanted quest. Stone requests Sashimi by mail on the 21st of Spring in Year 2 during the "Stone's Notice" quest, where it is the requested item.
