Prehistoric Scapula

The Prehistoric Scapula is an Artifact that can be donated to the Museum and contributes toward the total number of museum donations. It can be found by digging up Artifact Spots in Cindersap Forest or Pelican Town, by mining Bone Nodes on the Ginger Island Dig Site, by killing Skeletons in The Mines, or as a gift from a pet dog with max friendship.

Donating the Prehistoric Scapula, together with the Prehistoric Skull and Skeletal Hand, rewards the player with the Sloth Skeleton L statue. It is also a useful artifact for the Bone Mill, where it can be converted into one of several fertilizer products: Quality Fertilizer, Speed-Gro, Deluxe Speed-Gro, or Tree Fertilizer.

The Prehistoric Scapula is not used in any bundles and is not used in any cooking recipes. It does, however, have a small tailoring use: placing it in the spool of the Sewing Machine with Cloth in the feed creates a clothing item, and placing it with a dyeable clothing item in the feed produces a white dye result.

It can also be relevant during the Special Order quest “Fragments of the past,” in which Gunther may request 100 of any combination of bone items. This makes bone-related drops and artifacts, including the Prehistoric Scapula, potentially useful to keep on hand while the quest is active.
