Prize Ticket

Prize Tickets are a currency item earned from quests and Special Orders. They can also be obtained from the chest at the end of the Maze during Spirit’s Eve, from repeated wins at the Egg Festival and Festival of Ice, by buying one at the Stardew Valley Fair for star tokens, and from a box behind the stump above the Bookseller. They are exchanged at the prize machine in Lewis’s house, next to the Town Ledger.

The prize machine shows how many Prize Tickets the player currently has, along with the next three rewards that will be dispensed. Claiming a reward consumes one ticket and advances the reward line forward by one position. The first 22 rewards are predetermined, while later rewards loop through a repeating set of nine slots; within slots that have multiple possible contents, only one reward is chosen.

Prize Tickets have a few limited item interactions:

• They cannot be given as gifts to villagers.
• They are not used in tailoring.
• They can be used as red dye in the dye pots found in Emily’s and Haley’s house at 2 Willow Lane.
