Wilted Bouquet

The Wilted Bouquet is a special gift used to end a dating relationship with a marriage candidate. It can be given to any or all marriage candidates the player is dating, and doing so immediately breaks up the relationship while reducing friendship to 5 hearts, or 1,250 points. Unlike a divorce, the former partner can still be spoken to and gifted afterward.

A Wilted Bouquet is made by placing a Bouquet in a Furnace with one coal. The crafting process completes when the clock advances to the next 10-minute interval, so it may finish partway through the current in-game period rather than instantly. It can then be shipped for the same sale price as a regular Bouquet, though it cannot be bought back from Stone.

Wilted Bouquet also has a tailoring use: placing it in the spool of the Sewing Machine creates the Darkness Suit.

• It is a breakup item, not a divorce item; it only affects dating relationships with marriage candidates.
• Giving one to a spouse does not work. Attempting to do so opens a message stating, "It wouldn't make sense to give this to ."
• Because the relationship is reduced to 5 hearts instead of being erased entirely, the character remains interactable after the breakup.
• Its crafting and sale value match those of a regular Bouquet, but its purpose is entirely different once it has been wilted.
