Inquisitor Crate

The Inquisitor Crate is a special loot crate found in the final room of the Praetorium, positioned to the left of IS-0101. It cannot be crafted, and it is tied to the Portal world reset cycle, so it respawns every time the portal world resets.

To open it, an Inquisitor's Key is required. Once unlocked, the crate can be looted for valuable combat and progression rewards, including ammo, repair materials, and pieces of the Legate Armor Set. After it has been opened, it can also be packaged and re-used as a storage crate, with storage capacity and radiation shielding equivalent to a Hazard Crate.

The crate is especially notable for its guaranteed armor pieces and its mix of useful ammunition types, making it one of the more worthwhile Portal world rewards to secure when exploring the Praetorium. Since the crate is reusable after opening, it can also serve as a practical storage solution once its contents have been claimed.
