Chandelier

Overview

A large chandelier that hangs from the ceiling. The object is visually imposing and clearly intended as a suspended light fixture, but it does not appear to function. In every language source the same basic observation is recorded: the chandelier is present as a big, hanging lamp and shows no signs of working.

The piece is best understood as an inert decorative fixture rather than an active building or machine. It occupies ceiling space and reads as a relic of prior installations; however, it provides no usable light, power, or other mechanical effect within the game world. Players encountering it will notice the form and scale of a traditional chandelier, but cannot rely on it for any operational purpose.

  • Appearance: large, ornate in design by implication of description, suspended from the ceiling and visible as a prominent object in whatever room or structure contains it.
  • Functionality: described uniformly as nonfunctional. It does not emit light or perform any interactive role indicated by the available descriptions.
  • Role in gameplay: treated as an environmental/scene element with no documented mechanical behavior or player-facing effects in the referenced material.
  • Localization note: the Polish name for this object, Żyrandol, corresponds to Chandelier in English; other language descriptions convey the same nonworking hanging lamp.

Because the chandelier is consistently reported as not working, it should be approached as atmospheric detail rather than a resource or device to be repaired or utilized. Observers may interpret it as a decorative remnant, but the only confirmed facts from in-game descriptions are its size, ceiling-mounted placement, and apparent lack of function.
