Conveyor Bridge
Overview
Conveyor Bridges are used to connect and route multiple rail systems without forcing every material line to share the same path. By keeping rail systems separate, they help ensure that resources arrive at the intended destination instead of being diverted into the wrong branch of a transport network.
In practice, Conveyor Bridges are most useful in bases with complex logistics, where several production lines, storage areas, or delivery points are connected to the same broader rail infrastructure. Separating the systems reduces the chance of materials being sent to an incorrect endpoint, which makes it easier to keep different cargo types organized and to avoid clogged or misrouted transport loops.
They are especially valuable when:
- multiple rail lines branch off from a central transit route
- different destinations need to receive different materials consistently
- a transport network has grown large enough that routing mistakes become difficult to diagnose
- you want to isolate one delivery path from another while still using shared infrastructure
As a rule, treating rail systems as separate networks improves reliability. Conveyor Bridges support that organization by helping material stay on the correct route and reach the right place.
