Exosuit Forge
Overview
The Exosuit Forge is the building used to prepare Exosuits for hazardous work. It fills suits with oxygen, allowing Duplicants to enter dangerous, uninhabitable, or life-threatening areas without suffocating immediately. In practice, it is part of the infrastructure for expanding into hostile biomes and other places that cannot be worked in safely with ordinary breathable air.
Because its purpose is to charge suits with oxygen, the Exosuit Forge is only useful when a colony has a steady oxygen supply available for suit preparation. Once Exosuits are filled, Duplicants can travel through unsafe regions more reliably, making it much easier to explore, build, and operate in environments that would otherwise be off-limits.
