Solid Fuel Thruster

Overview

The Solid Fuel Thruster is a rocket component building that increases a Rocket's effective travel range. Installing additional thrusters on a spacecraft enables it to reach more distant space destinations than it could with its base propulsion alone.

Solid Fuel Thrusters are used to extend mission reach: by adding thrusters to a Rocket, duplicants can send vehicles to farther tiles in space and access remote planetoids or resources that would otherwise be out of range. Their purpose is strictly to improve travel distance rather than to provide other functions such as cargo capacity or on-board life support. When planning expeditions, include enough thruster capacity to match the desired destination; adding more thrusters increases the set of reachable targets.
