Kiln

Overview

The Kiln is a building that runs very hot while operating. It is used to refine coal into Refined Carbon, making it a simple early industrial processor for turning a basic fuel into a more advanced material.

Because the Kiln produces significant heat, it should be placed with care and kept away from temperature-sensitive buildings, storage, and living areas. Its heat output can be useful when you want to warm a room or concentrate industrial machinery together, but it can also become a problem if the surrounding base is poorly insulated.

  • The Kiln consumes coal and produces Refined Carbon.
  • It reaches very high temperatures during operation.
  • Its heat makes it best suited for industrial areas rather than cramped living spaces.
