Wash Basin

Overview

The Wash Basin is a Building that reduces the spread of germs when placed in areas where Duplicants frequently become dirty. Installing Wash Basins near locations with high chances of contamination suppresses the expansion of pathogens and helps control germ proliferation throughout the base.

Place Wash Basins where Duplicants are likely to soil themselves to obtain the intended benefit; their effect depends on being located near those points of contact between Duplicants and contaminants. Building Wash Basins in appropriate spots reduces overall germ transmission and contributes to a healthier environment for your colony.

  • Prioritize placement at or adjacent to work zones and transition areas where Duplicants pick up contaminants.
  • Multiple Wash Basins can be used to cover several high-traffic dirty locations across a base.
  • Positioning matters: a Wash Basin must be located near the likely infection sources to effectively limit germ spread.
