Fish Smoker

The Fish Smoker is an Artisan Equipment device used to create Smoked Fish from any fish and 1 Coal. It preserves the fish’s quality, doubles its sell price, and increases any energy and health restoration by 1.5×; if the original fish did not restore energy or health, that part of the value does not change. The smoker accepts Legendary Fish and fish caught from Crab Pots, which means Crab Pot catches can be turned into edible food instead of remaining low-value items.

It can be crafted after buying the recipe from the Fish Shop, and it may also be obtained as the 12th prize from the Prize Machine in Mayor’s Manor, with a 50% chance. Players who start on Riverland Farm begin with one Fish Smoker already placed.

Smoked Fish is the only product of the Fish Smoker. It is made from a single fish and sells for 2 × the base fish price while keeping the fish’s quality tier intact. Because the quality is preserved, higher-quality fish remain more valuable than their lower-quality versions after smoking. The machine is especially useful for fish that already have strong base prices, and for any catch that is more valuable as a cooked or edible item than as a raw fish.
