Touching the statue gives a unique blessing every day.

Overview

The Statue of Blessings is a special item that grants the player one random blessing each day. Once obtained, it provides a daily effect from a fixed pool of blessings, and the result for a given day is determined at the start of that day. Because of this, crafting multiple statues or restarting the day does not change the blessing received.

The available blessings are Blessing of the Butterfly, Blessing of Energy, Blessing of Fangs, Blessing of Friendship, Blessing of Speed, Blessing of Waters, and Blessing of Luck. Most of them last for the rest of the in-game day, with Blessing of the Butterfly and Blessing of Waters being exceptions. The butterfly blessing summons a Prismatic Butterfly somewhere in the valley, including Cindersap Forest, Pelican Town, the Beach, the Mountain, the Secret Woods, Bus Stop, or Backwoods. It wanders around the area where it spawns, can appear in a location that becomes reachable later, and disappears at the end of the day if not found. It cannot appear on rainy days or festival days, and it cannot spawn after 5:00 PM. In multiplayer, each player receives their own separate butterfly.

The other blessings are straightforward combat, utility, or social boosts. Blessing of Energy prevents energy loss by any means for the day, and if the player is already low on energy when it begins, that current amount is preserved and cannot decrease. Blessing of Fangs grants an additive 10% crit chance before Scout Profession calculations. Blessing of Friendship increases friendship gained from talking to villagers from 20 points to 60 points, making a single conversation worth three days of normal talk friendship. Blessing of Speed gives a +0.5 Speed buff that stacks with all other Speed buffs. Blessing of Luck grants a +1 Luck buff that stacks with all other Luck buffs.

Blessing of Waters improves fishing for the day. Legendary fish become 25% easier, non-Legendary fish become 50% easier except Carp, and the progress bar decreases 50% slower for all fish. This effect stacks multiplicatively with the Trap Bobber, reaching a 67% decrease with one Trap Bobber equipped and 75% with two. Catching non-fish items such as algae, jelly, seaweed, or trash does not count toward the blessing, but any hooked fish counts even if it escapes. If multiple fish are hooked at once with Challenge Bait or Wild Bait, they still count as only one fish for the blessing.

The item is most valuable when used on days where its random effect matches the player’s plans. Energy and fishing blessings are especially practical for long mining or fishing sessions, while the friendship blessing is useful for making daily villager interactions more efficient. Since the daily result is predetermined, the statue is best treated as a reliable daily buff source rather than something to reroll or duplicate for a better outcome.
