Stuffing

Stuffing is a cooked dish that can be made in the kitchen of an upgraded farmhouse or in a Cookout Kit. It restores energy and health like other edible cooked items, and it has an edibility of 68. Its selling price is 165g, and its buff duration is 5 minutes and 35 seconds.

Stuffing is also obtainable from several other sources. One can be purchased each year from the Traveling Merchant during the Festival of Ice. The Bookseller trades 3 Stuffing for 1 Jack Be Nimble, Jack Be Thick, provided the player has already gained the relevant power from that book. It can also appear randomly in Krobus' shop on Saturdays, in the garbage can outside the Saloon, or in the Stardrop Saloon's rotating stock. Five Stuffing may be found in a treasure room in the Skull Cavern, and one may be received from opening a Mystery Box.

In addition to being food, Stuffing has a tailoring and dyeing use. It can be placed in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create a clothing item, and it can be used as an orange dye at the dye pots in Emily's and Haley's house at 2 Willow Lane.

Because Stuffing has multiple acquisition methods, it is a useful item to save even if the player does not intend to eat it immediately. Its availability from seasonal and random shop sources makes it easier to replace than many other cooked dishes, while its tailoring and dyeing applications give it value beyond normal consumption.
