Wolf Fur Cape

Wolf fur cape is a cape armor piece crafted at the workbench. It is part of the mountain-tier equipment set and is mainly valued for its frost resistance, which makes it one of the key items for surviving the Mountain biome and other cold environments.

At quality 1, the cape has 1000 durability and 1 armor. Upgrading it increases both durability and armor by one point per quality level: quality 2 has 1050 durability and 2 armor, quality 3 has 1100 durability and 3 armor, and quality 4 has 1150 durability and 4 armor. Its weight is 4. The crafting requirements change by quality, with higher upgrades demanding more wolf pelts and silver, and the highest tier also requiring a wolf trophy.

Wolf fur cape grants frost resistance, and this effect has a few important interactions. It does not stack with frost resistance mead, Yagluth’s power, or frost resistance from other armor pieces. However, it does override the frost weakness caused by being Wet. It also prevents both Cold and Freezing, which makes it especially useful when traversing snowy mountains, exploring exposed peaks, or fighting in cold weather without needing to rely on mead every time.

Because the cape is an armor piece rather than a combat-focused item, its practical value comes from combining modest protection with reliable environmental defense. Players usually craft it after gathering silver in the Mountains, since the silver cost and wolf materials place it firmly in mid- to late-game progression.
