Wolves can drop different amounts depending on star level, with the listed yield being 1 / 2 / 4 for normal, 1-star, and 2-star wolves respectively.

Wolf pelt is primarily associated with wolf-themed equipment and mountain-base furnishing. It is required to craft the wolf cape, wolf armor pieces, and several interior items, making it useful well beyond its first use as a hunting drop. The material is also part of the crafting cost for the Dragon Bed, one of the more advanced beds in the game.
