Scale Hide

Scale hide is a Mistlands material dropped by hares. It is used as crafting and building material for several late-game items, making it one of the key resources tied to Mistlands progression.

It is obtained as loot from hares, which roam the Mistlands. The drop amount scales with the creature’s star level: normal hares drop 1–8 Scale hide, while starred hares can yield substantially more.

Scale hide is used in both armor and furniture recipes, including:

• Carapace Breastplate
• Carapace Greaves
• Carapace Helmet
• Carapace Shield
• Carapace Buckler
• Eitr-weave Robe
• Eitr-weave Trousers
• Feather Cape
• Hare rug
• Black Marble throne

Most of its crafting applications are tied to high-tier stations such as the Black Forge and the Galdr Table, so players generally begin stockpiling it soon after entering the Mistlands. Because hares are a repeatable source and can appear in groups, hunting them is the standard way to farm the material.
