Overview
Charred bone is a crafting and building material obtained in the 
Its main purpose is as a component in Ashlands recipes, especially early and mid-tier black forge and galdr station progression. Charred bone is consumed in both equipment crafting and base construction, so it remains useful even after the first few Ashlands upgrades.

It is also required for a number of higher-tier Ashlands items and weapons at the black forge or galdr table, including 




Because it is dropped by multiple enemy types, the most efficient way to gather Charred bone is simply to fight the local Charred population while exploring or clearing out hostile camps. Since so many Ashlands recipes ask for only a few bones at a time, but many of them require repeated crafting or upgrades, it is worth collecting more than you think you need.
