Overview

Omoroth the Sea Titan is a boss found in the Sunken Sea and fought in a large circular arena centered around whirlpools. It is summoned by fishing with an Expert Lure in one of the arena’s large whirlpools, and an Omoroth the Sea Titan Scanner can reveal its location on the map. Reaching it requires at least 180 fishing, which can be met with an Octarine Fishing Rod.

In battle, Omoroth attacks by spitting a heavy stream of whirlwinds that travel in a serpentine pattern away from its mouth. After several volleys, it submerges and reappears at another whirlpool before resuming the assault. At the same time, groups of three Omoroth’s Tentacles spawn around the arena, usually close to the player. These tentacles are melee-only, but they hit very hard and deal more damage per strike than the whirlwinds. They despawn automatically after 90 seconds.

Omoroth’s fight is highly positional, and staying too close makes the whirlwind pattern much harder to avoid. Ranged weapons are generally the safest choice, since they let the player keep distance while dealing with both the boss and the tentacles. If everyone dies or leaves the area during the fight, Omoroth submerges and must be summoned again with a new Expert Lure. After being defeated, it can only be summoned again once its soul disappears, which takes about 5–6 minutes.

  • Keep your distance to make the whirlwind volleys easier to read and dodge.
  • Prioritize surviving the tentacles, since their melee hits are especially dangerous up close.
  • If the boss relocates by submerging, be ready to reposition immediately and resume ranged pressure.
  • If the entire party wipes or leaves, the encounter resets and requires a fresh summon.
