Overview

Crydra the Ice Titan is a boss found beneath the surface of the Sunken Sea, moving in a circle underground until it is summoned to the surface. It cannot be damaged before being summoned, and the fight begins by placing a Wind Organ of Ice close enough to its location. A Crydra the Ice Titan Scanner can be used to reveal its position on the map.

Crydra spawns together with the soul of Druidra, which is invulnerable to attacks. The two share the encounter and alternate positions by burrowing into the ground between attacks, damaging nearby players when they emerge. Once defeated, Crydra respawns at a random location in the Sunken Sea after its soul disappears, which takes about 5–6 minutes.

Crydra and Druidra both use a small shared set of attacks:

  • If a player is close enough, Crydra slams into the ground, dealing damage to nearby players. It gives a hissing sound before doing so.
  • It can also fire a yellow beam from its mouth that tracks the player.

Each part of the boss also has a unique attack. Crydra creates an ice crystal on the ground that repeatedly fires two volleys of ice shards in a spiral pattern. The ice block can be destroyed by any attack, making it a useful target when trying to reduce pressure during the fight. Druidra, by contrast, roars upward, causes several blocks to fall from the sky, and then begins pulling players inward. Wind effects appear on the ground to show the area that will be hit by the follow-up shockwave. After a short delay, Druidra releases the shockwave, dealing heavy damage in that area and destroying exposed blocks. This attack can be avoided by hiding behind a block or moving far enough away.

Crydra is protected by armor that absorbs incoming damage, shown by a yellow bar above its health bar. Once the armor is broken, Crydra is paralyzed and falls to the ground, becoming vulnerable to damage. During this period, Druidra continues to act normally. After 9.3 seconds, Crydra resumes attacking and fully regenerates its armor, so the process must be repeated until it is defeated. Damage dealt to Crydra during each vulnerable phase is soft-capped at 25% of its maximum health, which means it must be paralyzed at least four times to be killed.
