Soldering Station

The Soldering Station is a functional building that enables Duplicants to construct Flydo retriever bots. Placed and used within a colony base, the Soldering Station is the production point for these small utility drones; once built at the station by a Duplicant, a Flydo operates as a helpful retriever/collector bot that automates fetching and moving items around the base.

Because the Soldering Station is the factory for Flydo units, it serves as an intermediate automation tool: instead of assigning duplicants to many small hauling chores, you can produce Flydo bots at the station to handle repeated retrieval tasks. The building therefore complements manual hauling and other logistic systems by providing mobile, repeatable collectors that reduce micromanagement.

• Duplicants must use the Soldering Station to construct Flydo retriever bots; the station does not itself deploy or pilot the bots once built.
