Thermo Regulator

The Thermo Regulator is a device that does not remove heat from the game world but instead relocates that heat from one area to another. When the Thermo Regulator cools a chosen space, an equivalent amount of thermal energy is transferred elsewhere, causing the temperature to rise in the destination area. This behavior is intrinsic: the unit changes the distribution of heat rather than destroying or dissipating thermal energy.

Because the Thermo Regulator conserves total heat, its use must be planned as a redistribution strategy rather than a cure for excess thermal load. Cooling a room, machine, or pipeline with a Thermo Regulator will make another location warmer by a corresponding amount. This makes the Thermo Regulator effective when you can move unwanted heat to a place where it will do less harm or can be handled more easily.
