Inconspicuous Ring

Overview

The effect specifically counts hits on the bottom bouncers toward damage—when an orb strikes a bumper at the bottom of the board, that hit is treated as a damaging contact and its damage is added to the shot total. This applies to any orb that physically collides with the bouncer; the description and game files use the same mechanic across multiple language builds.
Wall bounces do not benefit from this relic. Bounces off side walls or other wall collisions are not treated as bouncer hits and therefore do not receive the added damage contribution granted by
Practical notes for use:
- Prioritize shots that travel downward to make contact with the lower bouncers; direct bumper hits are the source of the damage bonus.
- The relic does not modify damage from wall bounces, so setups that redirect orbs via side walls will not gain the
Inconspicuous Ring benefit unless the orb subsequently hits a bottom bouncer.
- Combine with orb types and upgrades that already scale with collision counts to amplify overall damage when you can reliably contact the bottom bumpers.
