Peglinero's Pendant

Overview

When a peg or enemy drop yields coin-only gold and the player collects it, that collection event adds an additional damage count. The effect applies specifically to gold pickups rather than to other pickup types. This increases the total number of damage instances you deal in a shot that interacts with coin pickups, making coin-rich boards or builds that spawn frequent coin drops more damaging than they otherwise would be.
- The relic is most effective on runs or with builds that generate many gold pickups, such as items or effects that convert pegs/enemies into coins or spawn coin clouds. Each coin collection counts toward damage, so more frequent collections stack linearly with the number of pickups.
- Combine the pendant with orb- or area-clearing shots that sweep through clusters of coins to maximize additional damage instances per cast.
- The pendant synergizes with other damage-multiplying effects and modifiers that trigger per-hit, since each coin-collected hit registers as an extra hit for those interactions.
- Placement and timing matter: shots that collect coins early in their flight will register those extra damage instances for subsequent interactions along the trajectory.
- The pendant does not change the coin value or coin-related currency gain; it only changes how coin collection contributes to damage calculations.
