Peglintuition

Overview

This relic appears in the same item pool as other standard relics and functions across all areas where chests and post-battle rewards occur (Forest, Castle, Mines, and their associated encounters). The effect applies equally to regular battle rewards, miniboss rewards, and treasure chests; it does not directly add gold, orbs, or healing—only extra selection options are provided.
- The extra choice makes chests comparatively more valuable versus minibosses in terms of pure selection flexibility because chests grant a similar number of reward options without the risk of taking damage. Chests still will not contain gold or orbs by virtue of the relic alone; they simply offer one more selectable entry.
- Miniboss rewards remain important because they can still provide healing or unique rewards that chests do not; therefore
Peglintuition complements, but does not replace, the strategic value of tackling minibosses when healing or specific drops are needed.
- Because
Peglintuition only alters the number of choices and not the underlying probabilities or pool contents, it is most valuable when your build benefits from hunting specific relics or orbs and when the marginal benefit of an extra option is high (for example, when looking for a particular synergy).
- The relic’s name is a portmanteau of “Peglin” and “Intuition,” reflecting its role in improving your ability to pick favorable rewards.
