Label

The Label is a decorative and informational building that displays text on Machine Platforms. It is placed on a platform tile and shows any text entered by the player, allowing clear identification of production lines, machine groups, or specific tiles. Labels render text using TextMesh Pro capabilities, so their displayed content can include the full range of supported characters and the TextMesh Pro supported rich text tags for styling.

After placing a Label on a Machine Platform, the player must select the Label and use the Configure button to enter the desired text. The configuration interface accepts any characters and honors TextMesh Pro rich text tags, which lets players change font weight, color, size, and other supported inline formatting options according to the TextMesh Pro documentation.

Labels do not move shapes, alter production, or interact with belts and machines mechanically. They are purely informational and intended to improve layout clarity and coordination within factories. Because they occupy a platform tile like other platform objects, Labels share placement considerations with other platform items and should be positioned where their text is most useful to operators and viewers.
