Overview

Shape Validity Rules is a world mechanic that defines which geometric shapes are considered valid for use throughout the game world. It determines whether produced or placed shapes meet requirements for buildings, recipes, requesters, exporters, and any system that tests shape conformity, and it is consulted whenever the game must accept, reject, or score a shape. Shape Validity Rules therefore control which outputs from assemblers, combiners, and player-built layouts are usable for progression, deliveries, and interactions with other world systems.
