Super Meal

Super Meal is a cooked dish that can be prepared in the kitchen inside an upgraded farmhouse or with a Cookout Kit. It has a sell price of 220g and restores a large amount of energy for a single dish, with an edibility value of 64 and a consumption duration of 3m 30s.

Because it is a cooked meal rather than a raw ingredient, Super Meal is mainly useful as a high-value food item and as a material for a few specific crafting systems. It may also be obtained without cooking: it can randomly appear in the Volcano Dungeon shop, Krobus' shop on Saturdays, the Garbage Can outside the Saloon, and the Stardrop Saloon's rotating stock. In addition, 5 Super Meals may sometimes be found in a treasure room in Skull Cavern, 1–2 may appear in Supply Crates on the Beach Farm if the Farmhouse has been upgraded exactly once, and one may be received from opening a Mystery Box.

Super Meal also has two secondary uses beyond eating it:

• It can be placed in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create the Green Flannel Shirt.
• It can be used in dyeing as a green dye at the dye pots in Emily's and Haley's house at 2 Willow Lane.

These extra uses make Super Meal slightly more versatile than an ordinary recovery food. Players who are collecting clothing, dye materials, or items for specific tasks may want to save at least one copy instead of selling or consuming every one they find. Since it can show up in several shops and loot sources, it is also one of the easier high-tier cooked dishes to stockpile once the player has access to enough late-game content.
