Warp Totem: Mountains

Warp Totem: Mountains is a consumable warp item that teleports the player to The Mountain when used from the inventory. It becomes craftable after reaching Foraging Level 7, and it also has several alternate sources outside crafting. One can be obtained from opening a Mystery Box, and starting on Summer 1 of year 1 there is a 10% chance for it to replace Clay in an Artifact Spot.

In addition to crafting and digging it up, the item can be produced as a rare Fish Pond output once a pond has a population of 9 or higher. Crayfish, Periwinkle, and Snail can all produce Warp Totem: Mountains, and they share the same daily chance for this result at population 9 and 10. Its sell price is 20g.

Warp Totem: Mountains has a few niche uses beyond transportation:

• It is not used in any bundles.
• It is not used in any quests.
• It can be placed in the Sewing Machine spool to create a clothing item.
• It can be used in dyeing as an orange dye item at the dye pots in Emily and Haley's house.

As with other warp totems, it is mainly valuable for saving travel time and reaching a specific destination instantly. Since it points to The Mountain, it is especially convenient for quick access to the mines, the Carpenter's Shop, the Adventurer's Guild, the Railroad area after it opens, and other mountain-adjacent locations. Because the item is consumed on use, players who rely on it often keep a small reserve for emergencies or time-sensitive trips.
