Small Canister

Small Canister is a portable storage item used to hold Soil. When equipped, a player or vehicle with empty canisters will automatically collect Soil from the terrain until the canister fills, making it a simple way to carry and manage terrain material while exploring or reshaping the landscape. Small Canister is crafted in the Backpack.

Filled canisters can be used to terraform the ground or to feed the Soil Centrifuge for Universal Resources. They also work well with Pavers and Drills, letting players quickly gather Soil while laying road or carving terrain. If a canister is used to create Hydrazine, the Hydrazine is produced already stored in a canister, and the container disappears once the contents are exhausted.

• The top of the canister shows its fill level.
• When empty, its surface is black.
• As it fills, the top light turns bright orange and the indicator shows the current amount of Soil inside.
• When full, the light turns green and the indicator becomes a complete circle.
• If multiple canisters are equipped, the terrain tool reticle is divided to show the total available Soil across them.
