Corium is an element produced only during Reactor meltdowns. It is ejected from the reactor and can impact nearby objects, where it solidifies into rock tiles. In the current game, it has no direct use beyond its unusual thermal properties.
Those thermal properties can be exploited in solid-based cooling setups, but Corium cannot be used as a building material. Any cooling system that relies on it has to be built very close to the meltdown site, since the material is only created in small amounts and is not meant to be transported or repurposed like ordinary construction resources.
Corium is generated in limited quantities during Reactor meltdowns.
When ejected, it can hit surrounding tiles and form rock tiles.
Its only practical application is as part of a cooling system based on its heat behavior.
Because it cannot be used as a building material, such systems must be constructed near the reactor.
