Overview

Molten Glass is an extremely hot liquid element used in the game primarily for its heating properties. It functions as a high-temperature medium that can be applied to thermally process certain biological materials into usable construction material in Tile form.

Because of its temperature, Molten Glass is used to heat Algae and Slime to produce Dirt as solid Tiles. Those Dirt Tiles are suitable substrate for Pip to plant on, enabling the creation of natural preserves or plant-growing areas where Pips can cultivate vegetation. This interaction makes Molten Glass a useful intermediary when a player’s goal is to convert organic or gooey resources into stable, plantable ground without relying on more conventional production chains.

  • Molten Glass serves mainly as a heat source for processing Algae and Slime into Dirt Tiles.
  • The resulting Dirt Tiles provide planting surface for Pip to grow plants and establish natural preserves.
  • Use Molten Glass where you need to thermally transform wet or biological materials into solid Tiles for agriculture or habitat construction.
