Pine Tar

Pine Tar is an item used in tailoring, dyeing, and certain quest requirements. It can be placed in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create an item, and it can also be used as dye. At Emily and Haley’s house, 2 Willow Lane, it acts as an orange dye at the dye pots, and when used with a dyeable clothing item in the Sewing Machine’s dye slot, it serves as a brown dye.

In the community game content, Pine Tar is also one of the options for a bundle, and it may be requested by a Woodskip in a Fish Pond quest to raise the pond’s capacity from 5 to 7.
