Dressed Spinner

The Dressed Spinner is a tackle that shortens the maximum time before a fish bites, making it useful for improving fishing efficiency. By itself it reduces the delay before a nibble by 7.5 seconds, and when two Dressed Spinners are used with an Advanced Iridium Rod, the total reduction becomes 15 seconds. It is available once Fishing reaches level 8, at which point it can be crafted or purchased from Willy’s Fish Shop.

It can also be obtained from several other sources: regular Fishing Treasure Chests after reaching Fishing level 6, Golden Fishing Treasure Chests, Mystery Boxes, Golden Mystery Boxes, the Traveling Cart, and as a gift from Willy during the Feast of the Winter Star. In addition, one Dressed Spinner is awarded for completing the Missing Bundle, and it is one of the rewards for winning the fishing competition at the Festival of Ice for the first time.

Because it is a tackle item, the Dressed Spinner is most valuable to players who want more frequent bites rather than a direct increase to fish quality or catch chance. Its effect is especially noticeable in long fishing sessions and when targeting fish in spots where waiting for a nibble is the main time cost.
