Its most practical uses are in tailoring and dyeing. A Golden Pumpkin can be placed in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create a clothing item, and it can also be used as a yellow dye at the dye pots in Emily and Haley’s house at 2 Willow Lane. Because of this, it is one of the more useful special items for players who want to customize outfits or access a strong yellow dye option.

When selling a Golden Pumpkin, it must be placed in the Shipping Bin on the farm. Stone will not buy it, so it cannot be sold through his shop. This makes the Shipping Bin the only standard way to turn it into gold.
