Overview

Bukeperries is a consumable item used to clear a character’s currently active food effects. When eaten, it inflicts a nausea effect that makes the character vomit, sharply slows movement, and gradually lowers health down to the normal 25-point floor. It also reduces periodic healing by 100%, so it is best treated as a deliberate reset tool rather than something to eat casually.

It is dropped by enemies in the Black Forest and the Plains, including a Black Forest sorcerer-type foe and a Fuling Shaman. Its effect is functionally the same as rotten meat found in Putrid Holes in the Ashlands, so either item can be used when a food reset is needed.

  • The vomiting effect lasts 15 seconds.
  • Any food eaten during the effect is wasted and will not provide its benefits.
  • Wait for the nausea to end before consuming replacement food, especially if you are trying to swap from a weaker meal to a stronger one.
  • Because it clears food bonuses, Bukeperries is useful when you want to intentionally drop an old meal setup and immediately rebuild it with a better combination.
