Fuling Shaman

Overview
The Fuling shaman is a hostile

It has three attacks and abilities: a close-range staff jab, a fireball attack, and a protective barrier. The staff jab reaches 2 meters, covers a 40-degree horizontal arc, deals 100 blunt damage, and can be used every 2 seconds. The fireball attack can be used at 0–20 meters, has a 3-second cooldown, and fires a projectile that travels at 15 meters per second for up to 4 seconds before despawning; on hit, it applies Burning and deals 20 blunt and 100 fire damage. Its protective barrier affects all allies within 6 meters, negates up to 100 damage, lasts up to 40 seconds, and has a 40-second cooldown. The shield can be damaged by weapons, and once broken, the protected enemies become vulnerable again.
In practice, the shaman is most threatening when it is standing near other Fulings, since the barrier can keep a whole cluster alive long enough to overwhelm the player. Its shield should be broken quickly with focused attacks, especially before engaging the rest of the group. Because it can use its fireball at range, closing distance without being ready to dodge can be risky; however, once it is forced into melee, its options are much more limited. Fast, aggressive attacks work well, as its shield does not make it invulnerable and can be worn down.
Fuling shamans can be found among Fuling groups and are identified by their staff and magical casting. They drop

Their use of protective magic is reflected in Valheim’s broader Norse-inspired fantasy, where shamanic practice is associated with Seiðr, a form of magic tied to shaping and foretelling the future.
