Overview

The Fuling trophy is a small ivory-colored ritual figurine associated with Fuling culture. It depicts Yagluth, the fifth boss of Valheim, and is tied to the shrine-like structures found in Fuling villages. These villages are crowded with many Fuling of various types, including shamans and berserkers, so entering one without strong gear is not recommended.

Fuling trophy is one of the rare objects found in Fuling villages, and it is also the only place where barley and flax can be gathered. Once the village enemies and resources have been cleared, they do not respawn, making each village a finite source of loot.

A total of five Fuling trophy items are required to summon Yagluth.

When raiding a Fuling village, ranged combat is highly effective. Using a bow to thin out enemies before engaging in melee makes the fight much safer, especially because being surrounded can quickly overwhelm the player. A fully upgraded Draugr Fang with poison arrows or needle arrows can kill a normal Fuling in one shot if it has not spotted you.

Priority targets are the sentries in tower positions and the Fuling shamans:

  • Shooting a sentry draws nearby Fuling toward the tower, which can help separate them.
  • Shamans can shield themselves and nearby allies with a magical barrier, so they should be killed before they can cast it.
  • If the situation turns bad, retreating is a valid option as long as you have enough stamina.

The item can also appear as loot from a Fuling Berserker, with a 10% drop chance.
