Fuling Berserker

Overview

Unlike ordinary Fulings, Fuling berserkers always carry the same club, but their appearance still varies. Some have a headpiece that covers their eyes, while others have four large bones strapped to their back. Their skin tone generally follows the same pattern as other Fulings of similar star level: unstarred berserkers are green, one-star berserkers are lighter yellow-green, and two-star berserkers are reddish-tan.
Fuling berserkers have three melee attacks, and all of them can be parried:
- A fast right-to-left swing.
- A delayed left-to-right swing.
- A three-hit ground slam combo, announced by a roar.
The first two attacks are close-range club swings with a 4-meter reach and a 70-degree arc in front of the berserker. The rage attack is a sequence of three forward-stepping ground slams that extend out 4 meters with a 60-degree vertical arc. The slam combo is the most dangerous pattern, and mistiming the parry often means death. Enraged berserkers deal massive damage and can easily stun or kill even well-armored players with good food.
Because of their power, Fuling berserkers are best fought with patience and spacing. Their attack patterns are readable, but the delayed swing and the roar before the slam combo are both designed to catch players who parry too early. Heavy armor and strong food help, but they do not make the berserker safe to ignore.
Fuling berserkers drop the following loot:
Black Metal Scrap
- Pssters
Fuling Berserker Trophy
- Fuling totem
The amount of black metal scrap and Pssters increases with star level, while the trophy and totem have fixed drop chances. They are a valuable source of black metal scrap, and their trophies and totems make them important targets in Plains progression.
Runestones and Fuling totems imply that the berserkers, like other Fulings, worship
