Seeker Soldier

Overview

Seeker soldiers have three close-range attacks. Their bite is a sweeping pincer clamp that deals 100 slash damage in a 4-meter, 45-degree horizontal arc and can be used every 8 seconds when the player is within 4 meters. Their ram attack involves bringing one claw forward and then the other before slamming ahead with the head, dealing 100 blunt damage plus 100 chop and 100 pickaxe damage at Tier 4; it has an 8-second cooldown, reaches 4 meters, and covers a 45-degree horizontal arc. Their ground slam is a two-part attack, with each arm striking down separately; each hit deals 120 blunt damage plus 100 chop and 100 pickaxe damage at Tier 4, affects a 4-meter radius around each claw, and can be used every 12 seconds when the target is within 5 meters.

- When fighting a Seeker soldier from elevated ground, do not rely on a rock or ledge for safety; its attacks can demolish the support beneath you.
- Because its front is heavily armored, attacks from behind are more effective than trying to trade blows head-on.
- Its terrain-breaking attacks can be used to harvest black marble and
Yggdrasil Wood without a Black metal tool, and can also be exploited to obtain much larger amounts of scrap iron outside Sunken Crypts than with other methods.
- The bite attack is the least useful for resource destruction, so only the ram and ground slam should be relied on for that purpose.
