Volture Meat

Given that this bird feasts on all kinds of things, you'd better cook its meat before you even think about eating it.
Overview

Volture meat can be cooked on a standard cooking rack for 60 seconds. If the cooked meat is left on the iron cooking station too long, it will burn. Cooked volture meat cannot be used to craft recipes that specifically call for Volture meat as an ingredient, so the raw item should be kept for cooking or recipe use before preparing it.
Its cooked form restores 70 health, 24 stamina, and 6 healing. While it can be consumed after cooking, it is generally better reserved for cauldron recipes, since it is also used in higher-tier food preparation. One of those recipes is
Asksvin Tail ×1
- Volture meat ×1
Fiddlehead ×1
Another basic use is simple cooked volture meat:
- Volture meat ×1
In practice, Volture meat is best treated as a mid- to late-game Ashlands food ingredient. It is useful for stocking up on cooked food, but players will usually get more value from turning it into prepared meals at the cauldron rather than eating the cooked meat directly.
