Drywall

Overview
Drywall is a building used to cover exposed spaces and complete certain room requirements. In practice, it is mainly a decorative interior wall used to enclose rooms that need to be fully sealed by drywall, such as the Private Bedroom. It is also commonly used when players want a finished-looking interior without changing the function of the space beneath it.
Because Drywall occupies the same space as other placeable structures, it can interact awkwardly with tiles and other buildings. Normally, you cannot build a

A few practical points follow from its behavior:
- Drywall is useful for satisfying room criteria that require the entire room to be covered.
- It can be used alongside other building layouts to create sealed-looking spaces without fully blocking flow if placed carefully.
- The ladder replacement trick allows Mesh Tiles and Airflow Tiles to remain in position, which can be helpful in
The Void or similar setups where controlled access between sections matters.
- When using Drywall as part of a room build, placement order matters if you want to preserve other buildings such as Flower Pots.
Drywall is not a food source or a farm building; its value is in room construction, enclosure, and interior design. It is best thought of as a structural finishing piece that helps turn open construction into a proper room while still allowing advanced placement tricks when needed.
