Gas Pump
Overview
Gas Pump output can be piped into another building’s intake to send gas to that building. When its gas outlet is connected by pipe to a machine or building that accepts gas input, the gas will flow into that target instead of staying in the pipe network.
This interaction is the basic way to transfer gas through a base’s ventilation system. The pump itself does not deliver gas directly to a room or structure; it must be connected through pipes to a compatible intake. Once connected, the receiving building will accept the gas from the pump’s output and use it as part of its normal operation.
- Connect the Gas Pump’s gas outlet to a building’s gas intake with a pipe.
- Gas will be sent to the connected building through the pipe network.
- The receiving structure must have a gas input for the transfer to work.
This makes Gas Pump a standard source for feeding gas into other systems, such as any building that needs a gas supply routed through pipes.
