Liquid Bridge

Liquid Bridge is a piece of liquid piping that lets liquid pass in one direction, from the white end to the green end. It is used to route liquid lines over gaps or through crowded areas without merging separate pipe networks, helping keep systems organized and reducing problems caused by mixed contents.

Before placing one, it can be rotated with the O key. If the direction is unclear, the center arrow shows the flow direction. A deconstructed Liquid Bridge does not leak its contents, making it safe to remove and rebuild as needed.

• Liquid passing through a bridge does not exchange heat with the liquid bridge itself, but the bridge can still transfer heat from its surroundings. When spanning hot or cold areas, insulated materials are recommended.
• A bridge can be used to control pipe priorities. If another output pipe connects at the bridge’s input, liquid will prefer the bridge until the bridge’s output is full, rather than splitting 50/50.
• If another input pipe connects at the bridge’s output, liquid from the bridge is blocked until the other input pipe is empty.
• Keeping pipe systems separate helps prevent building damage caused by mixed pipe contents.
