Miniboss Meetup

Miniboss Meetup is a relic that transforms every map node into a miniboss encounter. With this relic equipped, standard enemy fights (every non-boss tile) are replaced by miniboss battles, causing each floor to consist of a succession of tougher, individually named miniboss encounters rather than ordinary groups of enemies.

This relic cannot be obtained through normal chest or shop rewards during a regular run. It is only available as a selectable relic when starting a run via Custom Start. The relic is unlocked by initiating a Custom Start run using the special "all-minibosses" secret seed; the relic unlocks whether the run is won or lost, so completing the run is not required.

Miniboss Meetup is commonly used to force an all-miniboss experience without relying on the fixed map that the secret seed provides. When obtained, it lets players experiment with different seeds while preserving the all-miniboss condition and can be combined with other secret seeds and modifiers to create varied, high-difficulty runs. Because every node becomes a miniboss, runs with this relic are substantially more challenging and require builds that scale well against single, durable enemies and miniboss-specific mechanics.
