Bat Wing

Bat Wing is a monster loot item dropped by bats and other flying monsters. It is mainly useful as a crafting and quest ingredient, and it also appears in a few bundle and tailoring uses. Because it is a common combat drop, players usually accumulate Bat Wings naturally while exploring mines and other monster-filled areas.

Bat Wings can be donated to the Community Center as one of the options for the Vault bundle, and ten Bat Wings are also required for the Adventurer's Bundle. They are not a high-value sell item, so their main purpose is usually to be saved rather than sold.

Bat Wings are used in several other systems as well:

• In tailoring, Bat Wing can be used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create the Dark Shirt.
• In Fish Pond quests, ten Bat Wings may be requested by Void Salmon to raise the pond capacity from 3 to 5.
• In Fish Pond quests, ten Bat Wings may be requested by Catfish to raise the pond capacity from 5 to 7.
• The Raccoon at the Giant Stump may request twenty Bat Wings as part of his fifth request, and they may also appear in any request from the sixth onward.

Because several progression systems ask for Bat Wings in batches of ten or twenty, it is worth keeping a modest stack on hand. This is especially true for players who want to complete Community Center content, make fish ponds more efficient, or respond quickly to Raccoon requests without needing to go back and farm monsters again.
