Silver Shield

The Silver shield is a craftable shield used for blocking and parrying, offering a solid amount of protection in the mid-to-late game. It is upgraded at the workbench like other shields, and its stats improve steadily with quality.

At quality 1, 2, and 3, the shield provides 60, 66, and 72 block armor respectively, with durability increasing from 200 to 250 and then 300. Crafting requires Finewood and Silver, with the recipe scaling by quality level: 10 Finewood and 8 Silver for quality 1, 10 Finewood and 4 Silver for quality 2, 20 Finewood and 8 Silver for quality 3, and 40 Finewood and 20 Silver for the final total upgrade path shown in the source. Because Silver is a valuable material, choosing whether to invest in upgrades depends on how often the shield will be used compared to other silver-tier gear.

When crafting a Silver shield, players can choose from several preset styles and colors by clicking the style button beneath the item name in the crafting window. This appearance is locked in after crafting, so the design should be selected before confirming the item. The shield has seven available styles.
